Editing is good and production values are decent considering the movie was shot in record time. It doesn’t elevate the mood of certain scenes. Music is average at best and Mani disappoints with BGM. Tamannah has a meatier role in first half but is limited in second half. His stature and persona are an integral part of the characterisation and he should be commended for taking up such a role after Gabbar Singh. His modulation for SriSri and Tilaks dialogues bring more credibility to the scene. He’s at his best during emotionally charged up scenes which require him to deliver lengthy dialogues. Pawan Kalyan is in great form and he is at ease in his role. The film has a lot of references to the current politics in the state and Puri cleverly makes sure not to throw any political agenda. Comedy becomes a part of screenplay and the movie is sans vulgarity. He has conveyed his story effectively in the backdrop of media. Though it sounds like a conventional story, it’s different film from Puri Jagannadh, who seems to be moving away from his trademark punch dialogues and racy screenplays. Rambabu vows to spoil Prakash Raj’s plans from becoming the next Chief Minister and how he creates a revolution to do that forms the rest of the story. He condemns the killing of a fellow journalist by Prakash Raj, who is son of Opposition Party Leader Kota. Rambabu joins the media and becomes a popular figure. Rambabu (Pawan Kalyan) is a common man who reacts to issues and he is discovered by Ganga (Tamannaah). It’s a sincere and a honest film in which every frame reflects the off screen persona of Pawan Kalyan. Now, Puri Jagannadh has tried to do something similar in Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Case in point being Rajinikanth’s Baba and Pawan Kalyan’s Komaram Puli however, most of these films couldn’t create magic at Box Office. There have been numerous attempts in the past to bring alive an actor’s off screen persona to the roles he portrays on screen.

Mani Sharma's music may not appeal to everyone, it is sure to impress Pawan fans.Cast: Pawan Kalyan, Tamannaah, Prakash Raj Although the film may partly appear superfluous, he and Pawan do manage to grab your attention.

Puri has once again proved his mettle as a scriptwriter and director. However, the role essayed by Prakash seems similar to the one he played in "Businessman". Kota Srinivasa Rao and Prakash Raj, playing father and son and villains, are maniacal and brilliant. Tamannaah is impressive in her role and proves she is one of the best actresses in the industry. Pawan performs with ease and elan and his timing for comedy is commendable. One particular scene between Brahmanandam and Pawan in the newsroom is hilarious and appreciative. Puri brilliantly uses these comedians to emphasise on the flawed, over-hyped and unethical media in this country. The film keeps you hooked, especially during comical moments involving Brahmanandam and Ali. The audiences will be engaged by Pawan's dynamism and Puri's powerful dialogues and his narration at breakneck speed. Of course, the style Puri chooses may appear cliched but on the whole, he does stir the mind. Sensitive issues such as Telangana and riots among college students are addressed intelligently. The scenes that unfold are mirror the current condition of people in the state. Puri takes a dig at the political state of affairs in Andhra Pradesh. How will Rambabu stop Rana at all costs from becoming the next chief minister forms the rest of the story. Irked by the situation, he steps down as a journalist and clashes horns with Rana Babu. However, Rambabu did not anticipate that, as a journalist, he was always expected to play by the books. When a righteous journalist is killed by a corrupt politician named Rana Babu, a socially responsible mechanic Ramnabu, played by Pawan Kalyan, turns to journalism, after being persuaded by Ganga, played by Tamannaah, to bring expose crimes of the politician. Puri, who disappointed everybody with "Devudu Chesina Manushulu", ensures unadulterated entertainment and thought-provoking moments in his latest offering. "Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu" is not just a perfect follow up to "Gabbar Singh" but even surpasses it in many departments. Film: "Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu" Cast: Pawan Kalyan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam and Ali Director: Puri Jagannadh Rating:
